Choosing the right size
When choosing your size, please note that our sizes run slightly larger, so if you are deciding between two sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller one. The leather is soft and comfortable, and will adapt to your feet more than you might expect. Therefore, choose a size that is 3–5 mm longer than the length of your foot.
For winter boots, you do not need to choose a larger size. With wool lining, the space inside the shoe is already adjusted for, so the internal dimensions are the same as the leather-lined models.
To determine your size, we recommend using our size templates, which you can download and print in both regular and wide fit versions in sizes 35–46. These templates represent the internal space of the shoes. There should be approximately 5 mm of space between your foot and the template.

Another way to determine your size is by measuring your feet. We’ve prepared a simple guide to help you measure your feet in just a few minutes.
How to measure your foot length
1. Stand on a piece of paper with your heel against a wall, so your heel is touching the wall.
2. Mark the centre of your heel (A) and the tip of your longest toe (B) with a pencil.
3. Using a ruler, measure the distance between these two points – from the wall (heel) to the tip of your longest toe.
Simply add an allowance of 3–5 mm to your measured length. The final length is the one you need inside the shoe.
The leather will give a little with wear. Thanks to the anatomically shaped toebox, you don’t need to add extra length, which would otherwise be necessary to achieve the required width.
Width
LUKS Barefoot shoes are at their widest in the toebox and the middle part of the foot, but are narrow enough at the heel so they don’t slip off.
They’re a great choice for anyone who wants plenty of room for their toes to spread out, but without too much extra space at the front for comfortable walking.
We make our barefoot shoes in two widths:

The wide fit version is about 0.5 cm wider in the toebox and the front part of the shoe, while the heel remains almost the same width.

How to measure your foot width

1. Stand on a piece of paper with the outer side of your foot against a wall, so your heel is touching the wall.
2. With a pencil, mark the big toe joint (A) and the little toe joint (B).
3. Using a ruler, measure the distance between these two points – from the big toe joint to the little toe joint.
Do not add any extra allowance to the width measurement.
Volume
LUKS Barefoot shoes fit feet with medium volume over the instep and provide enough room for high toes.
If you have a higher instep, we recommend choosing styles with laces – for example, Milagro, Corriente, or Plumas – which you can loosen or tighten to suit your instep height.
On the other hand, slip-on styles like Fuego or Excellent are more suitable for low to medium instep. With a higher instep, they may feel tight and can be harder to put on.
For feet with a higher instep that require laces, Cordelia, Chelsea, Primavera or Invierno have proven to be good choices.
For very low volume feet, these models may not be suitable and may need to be custom adjusted.
