A New Year's Resolution Your Feet Will Thank You For
Why starting 2026 from the ground up makes sense
New year, new you. Sound familiar?
Every January is the same – gyms are packed, fridges are healthy, and everyone promises that "this year will be different."
But do you know what most people overlook? Their feet.
Yet this is precisely where your body's health begins. Your feet carry you every single day, for your entire life. The average person walks approximately 160,000 kilometres in their lifetime – that's four times around the world!
So why don't we care for them the same way we do our teeth, skin, or hair?
Why start with your feet?

Your feet are the foundation of everything
Imagine a house built on poor foundations. Even if the rest of the house is perfect, it will eventually start to crumble.
The same applies to your body:
The chain reaction:
Poor footwear → Deformed feet → Knee pain → Hip problems → Back pain → Poor posture
What conventional footwear does to your feet
Modern shoes are designed for appearance, not health. Here's the difference:
Conventional Footwear
LUKS Barefoot Shoes

The result of conventional footwear? Your feet become weak, deformed, and painful.
What happens when you switch to barefoot?
First week
Your feet wake up after years of being "asleep"
First month
Muscles strengthen, feet adapt
After 3 months
Body realigns, pain subsides
After one year
A new standard of living
Stories from our customers

How to begin: Your 30-day barefoot transition plan
Weeks 1-2
Gradual start
Wear barefoot shoes for 1-2 hours daily. Start at home or on short walks. Listen to your body – mild fatigue is normal.
Weeks 3-4
Increasing intensity
Extend wear to 4-6 hours daily. Try longer walks. Exercise your feet at home – pick up a towel with your toes, walk on tiptoes.
Month 2+
Full transition
Wear barefoot all day. Try different surfaces – grass, sand, stones. Enjoy the freedom of natural movement!
Tip: Alternate with conventional shoes until you've adapted. Massage your feet in the evening – it aids recovery.
